Aloha est au sec dans un hangar depuis quelques années. Ses propriétaires faisaient aussi de la voile sur leur Bénéteau 50 en Méditerrané. Leur age et santé ont mis terme et j’ai vendu le Bénéteau il y a 18 mois. Le projet de remettre le Sunseeker en service est désormais également victime de santé.
Remotorisé en 1995 avec des Volvos plus modernes, plus puissants et plus fiables. Les échappements par les embases ont été remplacé par des échappements et waterlocks classiques. Ces travaux ont entrainé le déplacement/remplacement de quelques batteries.
Travaux à prévoir ; Remontage des embases, (manque un verin), travaux électricité et fixation batteries, connection pompe de cale haut débit.
Le bateau n’ayant pas bougé depuis un moment, un nettoyage profond est à envisager, ainsi qu’une inspection des moteurs par un professionnel. D’autres petits éléments sont à réparer ou peaufiner.
Le charriot hydraulique n’est pas inclus dans le prix, mais peut être acheté par négociation.
Les vendeurs veulent libérer la place dans leur hangar, mais un acheteur pourrait bénéficier d’une période pour faire les travaux.
A ce prix, ce bateau est absolument à saisir! Un client Anglais, sans voir le bateau, s’est engagé et a fait faire une expertise, pour une raison personnelle il ne veut pas continuer et n’a même pas vu le rapport d’expertise! Au 21 novembre le bateau est donc disponible, et je n’ai pas vu de grosses craintes pendant l’expertise.
Ashore for 6 years due to owners’ health, which now pushes them to sell. Some reassembly and cosmetic work to be done. I know the owners and boat well and can tell you the story. A client who has not seen the boat went to contract and survey, but now wants to withdraw for personal reasons. He has not seen the report! Moteurs Volvo KAD 42 de 1995 (retirés par un propriétaire qui voulait des moteurs plus puissants, et stockés chez un professionnel pendant 7 ans), installés en 2005, chacun 230cv avec embases Duoprop DPX 390. Commandes électroniques très souples Mathers.
Batteries service et moteur à changer. Chargeur 12v 25ampères sur courant de quai 220v.
Sondeur Eagle, GPS Furuno, radar Furuno 1622, pilote automatique Cetrek/Navicom 727, radio / CD / USB Sony avec télécommande.
Guindeau électrique avec commande à distance. Bossoirs robustes avec treuil électrique. Béquilles téléscopiques.
Frigo armoire, chauffe eau mixte.
Cabine avant avec grand lit double. Compartiment toilettes avec douche. Cuisine à bâbord. Cabine double sous le carré. Poste de barre tribord devant grand carré avec banquette en U à tribord et banquette à bâbord. Portes coulissantes donnant sur grand cockpit arrière avec bancs et coffres de rangement. Accès moteurs sous le cockpit. Echelle pour accès au flybridge avec sa poste de barre.

1995 Volvo KAD 42 engines, each 230hp with Duoprop DPX 390 outdrive legs. Engines were removed from another vessel by an owner wanting more power and stored by a mechanic for 7 years. Installed on Aloha in 2005 showing minimal engine hours. Very flexible Mathers electronic controls. Engine exhausts modified to run to separate, conventional outlets via waterlocks, rather than through the legs. (This was a fault with original installation risking seawater backing up into engines)
Service and engine batteries. Charger 12v 25amps on shore power 220v.
Eagle depth sounder, Furuno GPS, Furuno 1622 radar, Cetrek/Navicom 727 autopilot, Sony radio/CD/USB with remote control.
Electric windlass with remote control. Sturdy davits with electric winch. Telescopic beaching legs.
Cabinet fridge, water heater from shore power or engine calorifier.
Fwd cabin with large double berth. Toilet compartment with shower. Galley to port. Double cabin under the saloon. Helm position to stbd in front of large saloon with U-shaped settee on starboard and settee on the port side. Sliding doors leading onto large aft cockpit with seating and storage lockers. Engine access under the cockpit. Ladder for access to the flybridge with its helm station.
Aloha has been ashore in a shed for a few years. Her owners also had a Beneteau 50 sailing yacht in the Mediterranean. Their age and health brought an end to their sailing days and I sold the Beneteau 18 months ago. The plan to put the Sunseeker back into service is now also shelved due to health issues.
Re-engined in 1995 with more modern, powerful and reliable Volvos. The exhausts running out through the drive legs have been replaced by conventional exhausts and waterlocks. This work led to the displacement of some batteries.
The boat has not moved for a while, a deep cleaning is to be considered, as well as an inspection of the engines by a professional. Other small elements need to be repaired or tidied up.
The hydraulic trailer is not included in the price, but can be purchased by negotiation.
Sellers want to free up space in their shed, but a buyer could have a period to do the work.
At this price, this boat is an absolute bargain!
Work required: Finish new installation of batteries caused by new exhaust runs. Reinstall drive legs. Bilge pumps to be refitted and rewired.
