Hanse 400 - 2006 - European Yacht of the Year 2006 - 100% “ready to go”.
(EU VAT PAID - Flag: Denmark))

The best cruising equipped, upgraded, and maintained Hanse 400 we have had for sale. Fionia, as she is called today, with production number 107 upgraded with new Main sail, new Jib sail, new Gennaker, anchor sail, 480w solarpanel on Targaframe, 600 Ah Lithium battery bank, newer instruments, and Axiom Plotters (2), AIS, Windvane, new Liferaft, all seacocks and thru hulls changed to Trudesign 2022, all light LED and lots more.

Everything you need for cruising or long-distance sailing is here! The current owners have updated in all details when they started their family cruising last year, although she was already in good condition before, when she sailed in Denmark.

There is no doubt that this is one of the most awarded Hanse boats for family cruising in its size. Hanse stands for German craftsmanship, quality, and reliability. Hanse yachts combine style with speed and safety. Each yacht is designed for easy handling and harmoniously combines family-friendly features with high-performance capabilities and comfortable sailing.

Regardless of whether you are going on a long trip or sailing in closer waters, this is the with room for the whole family to come along and at the same time a size that is handleable and still get space in marinas and at affordable level compared to larger yachts. The boat has everything you need and more, and the benefit of not having teak-deck.

This is the version with bulb/L-keel, and thus the draft is 1.98m that give it stability and good performance in close winds.

In the cockpit, everything is optimally placed so that the boat can be easily sailed by one or two people. You can safely sail her from the cockpit without having to go on deck. With 1 electric Harken 40 winch, as well as 3 manual winches, all reefs back in cockpit and choice of self-tacking jib, the boat is incredibly easy to handle, even for just one person. The high backrests in the cockpit provide comfort and convenience, and under the large (and new 2022) sprayhood and Bimini (2022), you are also well protected from the elements. Cockpit tent (shade/cover) is of course in good condition from 2022. Classic Teak in cockpit in good condition.

When you come down the stairs to the salon, you are immediately greeted by the enormous impression of modern design with Cherry wood finish on cabinets and floor, and with a bright and very light white interior and ceiling, mixed with marine-blue colored textiles, as well skylights providing beautiful light indoor living. Practical storage areas in multiple places as well as great storage for food or drinks under the floors. Classic mixed with the modern - and nothing has been spared!

On both the starboard and port sides there are double aft cabins with good storage facilities.
In front of the aft cabin on the starboard side is the galley/kitchen with double sink, gas oven and gas stove, large fridge/freezer/box and even a door opened refrigerator and plenty of cupboard space.

On the other side of the galley, on the port side, is a nice bathroom/Head including separate shower area.

The navigation area with everything needed for instruments, communication, and navigation as well as a panel for electrical installations and control of the switch panel, is placed on port side as part of the living area and between the sitting areas with table between. A smart solution for combining every-day living area with indoor navigation area. A cabinet door is available and can cover the instrumentation/electrical panels when not sailing. Following the two chairs/navigation area on port side, you reach the entrance to the Master/Owners Cabin in the bow. Here there is a double V-shaped bed, a sitting area and two nice large wardrobes - one on each side. In the master cabin there is direct access to second bathroom and toilet/head on starboard side (en-suite).

The salon on the starboard side facing the navigation and two sitting chairs, consists of a large U-shaped sofa and an impressive salon table, that even can be lowered and turned into an extra double bed.

Fionia have only had two owners. First owners (3 Danish gentlemen) had her from new and sailed primarily in Danish waters. Owner number 2 (current owners) bought her 2021 for a family adventure sailing with children for more than a year but sailed in Denmark from 2021 to 2023. They sailed from Denmark in 2023, along Germany, Holland, Belgium, France and over the Bay of Biscay to Spain and Portugal. From Portugal, along Algarve, passing Gibraltar to Spain. So Fionia have been tested in both coastal near sailing, the Atlantic coast, Bay of Biscay and proved herself I all waters and conditions. Now it’s time for the family with new land-based adventures and Fionia is therefore being sold.

This boat is 100% ready for new adventures, long-distance sailing or sailing in closer waters. This boat is priced for a relatively quick sale, but currently sailing Spain and the Balearics (Mallorca, Ibiza) and arrangements can be made for viewing in close harbors or Video Viewings with owner.
