Waterman OY 24 for sale

Waterman OY 24 foot lifeboat (motorboat) from the Finnish boatyard Turku with Sabb Mitshubishi diesel engine with few operating hours. The lifeboat is from the Oslo ferry “Pearl of Scandinavia” and was sold to the current owners when it was replaced by newer lifeboats on the ferry.

The motorboat is equipped with a 70Hp Sabb Mitshubishi engine that has been building marine engines since 1925. Since a lifeboat is rarely used, the engine has only a few engine hours, however, the number of hours is unknown.

The bottom of the boat has been sanded and epoxy treated. New electrical wiring and 3 newer batteries have been installed.

The cabin is large and spacious with storage compartments. Sleeping places or other furnishings can be added. The cabin can be completely sealed to make it watertight.

The cockpit has plenty of space for several adults and with several stowage compartments for batteries, turf, fenders, etc.

The boat needs to be painted and repaired on the deck and cockpit, but basically this is a safe and very strong boat. This Waterman is ready for a new owner who can build an exciting boat that has a different history than most other powerboats.
