Accommodation :
This beautifully built Southerly 101SE is fitted out with cherry joinery and has a light airy feel, the boat offers a total of seven berths in two cabins. The forward cabin is a double V berth with infill, plus a child bunk bed above with storage beneath.
The Saloon consists of booth dinette seating on the port side with a single settee berth opposite. Moving aft to starboard, stepping up to the chart and internal helm position which offers single helm seating with full engine controls, navigation aids, chart table, and vessel control switches.
Opposite the helm on the port side is the galley, it features a double stainless-steel sink with pressurized hot and cold water, a two-burner gas hob with oven and grill, 12v fridge, 240-volt sockets, and ample storage space. Also included in the saloon is a radio/CD player and TV.
Moving aft the heads are located on the port side and consists of a white sink mounted in a vanity unit, pressurised hot and cold water with shower attachment, built-in shower tray, a marine toilet, and a mirror. Hot water is supplied by the engine through a calorifier tank and 240v immersion heater.
The owner’s cabin is located behind the Galley with a double berth with storage to the port side, battery switches, and under berth storage. This southerly also benefits from Eberspacher heating and blue cloth upholstery.
The companionway leads up to a large aft cockpit for a boat of its size with bench seating surrounding the wheel steering column with Compass, Depth gauge, Wind direction and speed log, and engine controls at the rear of the vessel.

History and Construction:
Built in 1995 this Southerly 101SE has a white GRP hull, decks and cockpit area with non-slip surfaces. Stainless steel stanchions, pulpit. Self-draining cockpit. The boat is currently out of the water where the hull has been polished, re antifouled and anodes changed.

This Southerly 101SE is a Bermudan sloop with mast head rig and with a deck stepped aluminium mast and boom with stainless steel standing rigging, halyards, adjustable backstay, and kicker. The vessel has a furling headsail with an in-mast reefing mainsail. The standing rigging was replaced in 2017 and the running rigging was also replaced in 2017.

Mechanical Systems

This Southerly 101SE has a single 1995, 27HP Yanmar 3GM diesel engine powering a shaft-driven three-bladed fixed propeller with a rope cutter. The engine was last serviced by the owner in 2023. The Yanmar is supplied by a 102-litre capacity stainless steel fuel tank with Morse controls. This yacht will cruise at approximately 5.5 knots and has an approximate maximum speed of 6.5 knots. The engine hours are unknown due to a faulty display. This Southerly also benefits from a bow thruster.
