Designed by Van de Stadt and Finot, the 910 was so innovative and unique that on the eve of its launch, with the boat registered for the Middle Sea Race, the two designers, without prior agreement between them, called Sipla on the same day to disown the paternity of that revolutionary object. We all know how it went: the 910 won the race overwhelmingly, humiliating much larger and more prestigious boats.
