Inside, the combination of cherry wood, light wall panels, luxurious upholstery, and abundant indirect mood lighting stands out. The saloon is spaciously laid out, featuring a semicircular sofa opposite a cabinet wall. Thanks to the open connection to the galley and the semicircular dinette, this forms one generous living space.

In the bow, there is a sanitary room with a toilet, washbasin, and shower. This area is accessible from both the galley and the forward cabin. The forward cabin features a freestanding double bed and ample wardrobe space, ensuring comfortable sleeping accommodations for guests as well.

The aft ship is configured as a spacious owner’s cabin. Here, too, there is a freestanding double bed surrounded by ample closet space. A unique feature is the en-suite sanitary room, consisting of two separate rooms: a toilet and a separate shower room. Propulsion is provided by two Volvo Penta engines of 370 hp each. With this powerful engine, the Atlantic 42 possesses power that matches her size perfectly. The ship reaches speed effortlessly, while calm and controlled cruising is also perfectly possible.

In terms of equipment, this Atlantic 42 is also particularly complete. For instance, she features a Jabsco spotlight on the instrument arch - controllable from the steering position, windscreen wipers with interval and wash functions, a Raytheon ST60 windset, and trim tabs. The front windows of the windscreen are equipped with a defogging function, and there is a heating outlet on the aft deck. The instrument panel also features exterior lighting and extra speakers. Inside, amenities include Corian countertops, indirect ambient lighting throughout the ship, dimmable saloon lighting, a Zanussi dishwasher, and a Zanussi washer-dryer combination.

The engines have been serviced annually. During the last major engine service in 2025, all twelve fuel injectors were replaced, among other work. Antifouling was also applied in 2025, and the hull was polished in 2026. The Atlantic 42 has always been stored indoors in a frost-free environment during the winter months.
